Rotary Supports YMCA Charitable Programs

Of the many programs supported by Rotary Club of Lancaster South, the YMCA is the biggest beneficiary. Here Rip Lawhead presents a check in the amount of $5500.00 to Tracy Brunke, Marketing Director, at the YMCA. Many people think of the "Y" as a place to go workout, but that perception belies its heavy involvement in charitable activities, which is not well known. Rotary Club of Lancaster South is proud to be able to support the many worthwhile programs run by the "Y" through our biggest fund raising activities, the Magic Show held each April at the Lampeter Strasburg Performing Arts Center and the Funnel Cake Stand at the Lampeter Fair held each September. Thanks to all the people who patronize these events. You may not realize it, but you have made the lives of those less fortunate a little bit better and strengthened a bond that that helps communities flourish.
