Lancaster South Rotary named 2 Students of the Month from Solanco High School.
Ryan Eller, a junior at Solanco High School, has been selected as Lancaster South Rotary Club’s Student of the Month for January, 2021.  He was presented to the club at its virtual meeting by Scott Long, Principal of Solanco High School.
Ryan is the son of William and Carol Eller of Kirkwood and Donna Eller of Kirkwood.                  
 
Ryan has received honor roll recognition.   He is a member of Link Crew and a Renaissance Program gold card recipient.  In the community, Ryan enjoys helping-out with church activities.  
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Ryan’s future plans include attending a trade school following graduation from high school.  
 
Kendal Janssen, a junior at Solanco High School, has been selected as Lancaster South Rotary Club’s Student of the Month for January, 2021.  She was presented to the club at its virtual meeting by Scott Long, Principal of Solanco High School.
Kendal is the daughter of Mike and Dawn Janssen of Quarryville.                
 
Kendal has consistently received honor roll recognition and is a member of the National Honor Society.  She is a member of Link Crew and participates in the school’s Renaissance Program.  Kendal is a member of the varsity soccer, basketball and softball teams.  She also participates in travel soccer and softball.  Kendal has received recognition as a Solanco Student of the Month, and was selected as Fair Queen runner-up at the Elizabethtown Fair.
In her spare time, Kendal enjoys sports and spending time with her family and friends.
Kendal’s future plans include attending college to study nursing, and ultimately, becoming a nurse.
Student of the Month is selected on the basis of academic excellence as well as school and community service.
