Lancaster History

Mike Simmons is a near life-long resident of Lancaster County and lives in Willow Street with his wife AJ. They have five children ranging in age from 17 to 30. A graduate of Lampeter Strasburg High School 1984 graduate of Franklin and Marshall College with degrees in Government and English, Mike is currently a co-owner in several businesses with his wife including Fluent Business Solutions - a management accounting and consulting business, multiple real estate investment entities, and loKal Experiences - a Lancaster based experience company offering unique and authentic tours and experiences in the Lancaster area. From 1989 through 2008, Mike owned and operated Simmons’ Bake Shoppe, a retail and wholesale bakery, café, and catering business located in Strasburg and Lampeter. His interests include history and any form or learning, family and friends, cooking, and sports and fitness. He is a member of Lancaster Hempfield Rotary Club.
