Stevens Greenland Cemetary Cleanup

 

For those of you who are interested, there is another maintenance day scheduled for the Stevens Greenland Cemetery on Saturday, April 18^th.  We will begin at 9:00 am and will focus on headstone maintenance, trash pickup, flags replacement and other general activities.  We are hoping for donations of ground clear grass and weed killer to spray around the headstones.  Additionally, the large flag on the flagpole needs to be replaced and so a donation of, or contributions towards, a large 5x7 or 6x8 American flag would be appreciated.  I will work on trying to find people for a formal flag retirement ceremony that morning.  Other groups will be coming to help out but the more people who come, the shorter the morning!  Let me know if you have any questions or information about the above.
