Caring for Kids and Families: The Mission of COBYS Family Services

Mark Cunningham has been employed at COBYS Family Services for nearly 21 years, serving at the executive director for the past eight years. COBYS Family Services is a Christian social service agency that provides foster care and adoption services; counseling for adults, children and families; and family life education. Previously Mark was a physical education teacher for three years and associate pastor for four years. Mark is a graduate of Solanco High School, Messiah College, and Lancaster Theological Seminary. Mark and his wife Mari live in Lampeter and are the proud parents of three children. Son Jordan is a second grade teacher in the Harrisburg City School District, daughter Aja is a junior nursing student at Messiah College, and daughter Alyssa is a freshman at Messiah College studying to be an occupational therapist. Mark enjoys juggling, golfing, walking, and playing yard games with his family.
